The Samsung 870 EVO 2TB SATA SSD (MZ-77E2T0B/AM)
is an internal solid-state drive designed for desktop PCs, compatible
laptops, workstations, and other systems supporting a standard SATA
drive connection. It features 2TB of storage capacity, a SATA 6Gb/s
interface, and a 2.5-inch form factor. Built with Samsung V-NAND
3-bit MLC (TLC) flash memory and the Samsung MKX controller, this
model includes 2GB of LPDDR4 DRAM cache. It delivers sequential read
speeds of up to 560 MB/s and sequential write speeds of up to
530 MB/s, with random read and write performance of up to 98,000
and 88,000 IOPS, respectively. The drive is suitable for operating
system installation, application storage, everyday computing, and
general-purpose data storage in compatible systems.
