The Samsung PM863a 3.84TB SATA SSD (MZ-7LM3T8N)
is an enterprise solid-state drive designed for data centers, servers,
and compatible storage systems. It features Samsung V-NAND flash memory,
a Samsung Mercury controller, and a SATA III 6Gb/s interface in a
2.5-inch, 7mm form factor. The drive delivers sequential read speeds
of up to 520 MB/s and sequential write speeds of up to 480 MB/s,
with 4K random read performance of up to 97,000 IOPS and random write
performance of up to 24,000 IOPS. Additional features include
AES 256-bit encryption, TRIM support, and RAID support when used
with a compatible RAID controller. Its 3.84TB capacity makes it
suitable for enterprise storage workloads requiring high-capacity
SATA solid-state storage.
