The Seagate Exos X18 18TB Enterprise HDD (ST18000NM000J)
is a high-capacity enterprise hard disk drive designed for data centers,
enterprise servers, and large-scale storage systems. It provides 18TB
of storage capacity, a 7200 RPM spindle speed, and a SATA 6Gb/s interface.
This 3.5-inch drive supports 512e sector formatting and uses conventional
magnetic recording (CMR). With a 256MB cache and sustained transfer rates
of up to 270 MB/s, it is designed for demanding enterprise storage
workloads in systems that support 3.5-inch SATA hard drives.
